In Tools - Preferences - Period is a Range Bars options where I can set new period for RB, but I could select only 1-10pips (predefined combo values).
Why we can't set bigger periiod? If we would could set own period (no predefined periods in combo box)

for example Minutes have same problem, why there isn't textbox instead combobox where user can write any number for period?

Because it will be dramatically slow.
Candle could be created only with such time period, which could be divided with twenty-four hours with out remainder.

If it is dramatically slow then that should be my decision to make. I can live with slow 12 pip charts since I only need them for trade confirmation.

For your information TradingFx.com has pip charts available from 6 to 30 pips on their servers. They are a small company in the USA and their servers appear to be faster than Dukascopy servers. I wish to remain a Dukascopy customer but their service is becoming very attractive.

Pip charts are slowly becoming popular. Dukascopy should be at the forefront of this trend. Why is it that small companies are always the ones to be innovative and start new trends?

You will eventually have to add this option. You might as well start working on it now.
