I have been following the contest the last couple of months and testing your platform. I have found very bad problems in your daily/weekly and monthly charts. More often than not, the candles are not shown properly (just check yesterday candle in eur/usd the low is around 100 pips up from the real low but there are dozens of examples every week), in the majors is bad but in the more exotic crosses the difference are huge. Also the opening/closing times are not aligned with the US or Europe or the UK (but one hour after) which also distorts a lot the daily candles. They also distort all indicators and even simple pivots.

I was wondering if this only a problem in the Jforex for the contest or in the Dukas data feed. Is very annoying to have to check with other brokers the real daily charts and defeat the purpose of testing your platform and its a handicap competing in the contest especially for traders that use daily/weekly charts as part of the trading plan.

Could you please confirm that this is only a problem with the contest platform or is a general problem when using Jforex?

This sometimes happens in MT4 as well, with a bad internet connection. It seems like the 'bad' (live) chart was constructed from incomplete tick data, because the client did not receive the first few ticks in the questionable candle, and constructed the candle from the later ticks which it did receive. When you re-open the chart, it downloads historical data and so provides the complete candle.
