The JForex4 thread is locked so I will post here. I noticed the preview client did not come with a Historical tester as I assume that it is still being worked on. I did see a more advanced cache manager which is goo to downlaod file before testing.
Are there going to be improvements to the Historical tester? Currently the tester is very slow compared to other products and takes up lots of CPU to run a test. I also notice the Java heap memory size issue with the current client and it stop working, very hard to do 5-10 year backtests

Nice work otherwise, look forward to the completed product!
A little more Linux-Love would always be appreciated though
Just mee-tooing here Backtester & Linux support are what took me here in the first place. Performance is also important when testing gentic algorithms over some years of data
