onBar and one second period

Hello,
How to easiest way force onBar method to be called with ONE_SEC period? Now minimal period is TEN_SEC so if I use if(period.equals(Period.TEN_SECS)), condition is never true. Can I add this Period to basic Period list or have to use data feed or sth?
