maximum instrument exposure limit?

I got the following error when I tried to manually open a position in my demo account. Trade is rejected although I have enough margin in my account.

As far as I can see, such limit does not exist in historical tester. Would you please provide more information about this limit? Does it also exist on live accounts? Is there any way we can detect it in JForex-API?
