Post subject:  Calculate Indicators from Custom Data

Hello... I have a strategy that uses MA's...after seeing this newly available feature on Jforex 3...I would like to be able to calculate each MA in my strategy from custom data from different periods...I use the universal shift method to calculate currently.....if someone could point me in the right direction this would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply

But what I want is to not have the indicators in my strategy "recalculate on new candle only"
Is it possible to have this turned off like in the platform?

I don't want to have to wait for the candle to finish to see a cross over

The new advanced tab in the indicator section has me wondering wether this is possible now

Sorry I did not explain myself atall properly in the previous post

:)

This depends on the design of the indicator. To change this the indicator may need to be reprogrammed.
There are a number of strategies and indicators available from https://www.dukascopy.com/jstore/
Alternatively it is possible to to request external programmer to implement a strategy or indicator for you:
