One of my clients using JForex and also our software platform
using the standalone API, says he received the attached message.

Specifically, what does this confusing message mean? How
does it affect API clients? Is this a real message from Dukascopy?

"...proceed with Demo logon" ?? For Live trading ? Confusing?

Hi!

In case of JForex API this means that you need to migrate your Standalone API projects to version 2.42.2/2.12.1 or newer. All versions prior to 2.42.2/2.12.1 will stop working at some point. Speaking about JForex Platform, there is similar situation: all versions older than 2.42 are not supported since 01.02.2015 and can stop working in near future. Your client received that email because he uses old JForex Platform/Standalone API version.
