Is there a more straightforward way to find out if the drawing is selected by user besides ChartObjectListener.selected and deselected methods?

Can I programmatically select and/or deselect the IChartObject drawings?

A trade pattern is setting on the chart by user manually. Before calling main logic method the strategy must know for sure that all objects are deselected.

Maybe you can figure out something with the help of Robot() class to generate fake mouse clicks, which will deselect the drawings.
