API development seems to have less engineering resources, since there are so many other projects happening, it seems to me. The last API 2.7.9 update was about Feb 22, and we are mid-June now.

Ah, that explains a lot...
I hope they come back because I've been building a large application on this foundation.

All that I am saying is that those of us who are heavily invested in this platform should probably have a more "systematic" (rather than ad hoc) way of formulating requests, and justifying them.
Maybe using the Telefision interactive platform, perhaps, for technical meetings, might also be a way of discussing proposed changes to the API but, at the very least, a formal requesting mechanism would be so much better than this support forum where requests are ad hoc, and approval process seems informal.

Yes, that's it. I requested that it be filed in API Feature Requests, and it was placed in Trading Platforms FAQs. It's just the Ad Hoc nature of how requests in this forum are handled. Now, really, is that a "Frequently Asked Question" to provide an optional wider DOM feed to the strategy module? I think not. It is simply an arbitrary classification which represents that this forum needs a Systematic way of registering requests, and not just what "mood" a developer happens to be in, at the time s/he reads the forum post.......... I keep my sense of humor... At the time of this writing, the request was filed in FAQs, not in Feature Requests. viewtopic.php?f=81&t=48079HyperScalper

Quote: I requested that it be filed in API Feature Requests, and it was placed in Trading Platforms FAQs. And I was wondering why I have to use Search instead of browsing the Feature requests posts to find that topic... Anyway, it seems that you are right. Sad.
