Hello dear Support!
Thank you for this new release (2.7.0) of your great API. I have two questions regarding it.
Can you please answer if following added functionality APICLIENT-63 ADDED Standalone API: charts available in strategy is the requested functionality named JFOREX-3818 Standalone API: charts available in strategy?
If yes can you please provide an example of usage? If no can you please explain what added functionality is for and provide simple example of usage?
Thanks and best regards, kurak

Dear Support, I managed to run charts and they work great.
I’ve just started implementing this feature into my application based on JForex SDK. I’ve never worked before with your charts in JForex app so maybe my question will be stupid but I cannot find an answer. Is it possible to enable manual drawing on charts from JForex SDK like it is possible in JForex app? I would like to draw trend, support and resistance lines, Fibonacci etc. by hand. Is it possible to activate manual drawing mode? Or should I develop such features from scratch?
Best regards, kurak

I am confused. I see IClient.openChart discussed in the Wiki on working with charts, but where in the Javadocs is IStrategy.openChart ?? I think this is a typo in the Wiki, isn't it?
This is referred to in the Wiki under the working with charts section, I believe.
See attached screenshot. I believe the Wiki has a typo error because the IClient.addClientGUIListener adds a IClientGUIListener with methods onCloseChart and onOpenChart.
IStrategy.closeChart and IStrategy.openChart don't exist, do they, and I think that's a typo error. So these "events" are really IClientGUIListener.onCloseChart and IClientGUIListener.onOpenChart , isn't that correct? These are the "events" being discussed, I think.
IS THIS JUST A TYPO IN THE WIKI?
So looks like a "typo" error in the Wiki. I think those callbacks in that interface is what you are talking about which are available only to an SDK standalone client, right?
I'm working now with standalone clients with excellent results, really nice. And will shortly be creating charts from the standalone client.

The method is called IContext.openChart. The wiki description has been fixed.

I follow your comments from the past couple of months, and just out from curiosity: why are you developing the same features that the client has?
