Since the latest release, 2.6.66, I see log entries for the news feed at WARN level, that fill up my logs.
I don't use the news feed and I don't subscribe to any news.
How can I either stop the server sending news messages in the first place or otherwise suppress the log4j output for these messages?

This is fixed. Changes will be in the next DEMO version.
