Merge orders question

Hello

If two orders are in FILLED status and then I get them merged through the mergeOrder command, 2 questions:
1) is there any commission associated with merge process ?
2) Is there any kind of possible slippage in the merge process ?

I'm sure that no commission and no slippage will occur as to my understanding merging the orders does not happen on the market, but only on the trading server. I mean, only the representation of your positions is changed, no new positions are being opened or closed.
