Expiry of unfilled part in place_bid/offer with gtt?

#1 Will an unfilled part expire at (initial) good till time?

#2 Is it correct that place_bid/offer orders can be closed out with IOrder.close() only? IOrder.close() applies a slippage value of 5 pips by default. How to change this value?

Yes.

You can easily test that this is not the case.

You can use the IOrder.close() with the slippage parameter.
