unable to remove USD/CHF from currency pair list in JForex U

in the lower left Workspace area, showing the list of active currencies, I always have USD/CHF. right-clicking and choosing "Close Currency" pops up a dialog box with the message:

"This instrument cannot be deleted because it is being used by the platform right now"

However , I have no chart or anything open with USD/CHF. I can add and remove every other currency pair, no problem. If another pair has a chart open, a dialog box pops up asking if I want to close that chart. Not for USD/CHF.

I just want to have one currency active (EUR/USD), to run a strategy on that currency. How can I remove USD/CHF ? is that a bug ? is it due to the account denominated in CHF ?

Yes, system needs this currency pair for calculations, because you have account in CHF

ok, that makes sense.

How do I run a strategy on only one currency pair then ? Do I have to check in the strategy what the instrument is, and disregard accordingly ? Is there another solution ?

Yes exactly, you should verify in a strategy that you are using the correct instrument or instruments.
It's because, a strategy gets data for all subscribed instruments.
