What is the unit of getVolume()? Million? For example, if I'm dealing with USD/JPY, one Million dollars?
Another question is: how this function can be used? Examples?
Thanks.

Dear Sir,
The unit is in millions of the primary currency of the instrument.
Basically, the function may be used associated with the price action in an attempt to estimate the robustness of a price move, therefore, may be used as a confirmation of the underlying price action.
Should you need any further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best regards.
David

Does this value show the volumes of Dukascopy clients or total volumes (Dukascopy + currenex + lava + ...)?

The volume figure includes all the available liquidity in the SWFX, both internal (Dukascopy's clients), and liquidity quoted by the providers (counterparties) in the SWFX.
Best.

Is there any possibility to view volumes of Dukascopy's clients only?
In my strategy I plan to use functionality of Place Bid/Offer and want to analyse claimed of my offers.

Please explain more precisely what you mean by "claimed of my offers". In any case, this is not possible as of now to get more breakdown information on the volume.
Best.

sorry for my English, it is not my native language.
example:
current prices: 1.51000 1.51010 1.51005 1.50015
I place BID 1.50995, and I want know what probability that my order will be filled? That's why I want view only Dukascopy's clients volumes, because only they see my BID.
Is it planned in the future to do this functionality?

In the situation you sample, it is worth first to mention that your BID shall be executed by both internal and external offers should the agregate level of the market reach your BID.
Regarding the ability to catch opposite market orders, it is true that only internal (Dukascopys' clients) market orders shall have a probability to execute against your BID (assuming you are the best BID in the SWFX). In this scenario, the larger the internal liquidity is, the higher the probability of being executed shall be.
Having said that, it is unlikely that we provide in the future with the ability of identifying, or measuring internal liquidity, as opposed to external, because it would be a breach of the anonymous trading environment argument. However, the trend is for both kind of liquidity to increase, therefore enhancing the average probability of execution over time.
You may refine you question or concerns and we will be glad to address further questions.
Best.
David
