This is just something I've noticed with the platform in combination with my new horrible internet connection.

I've moved and I've got a very unreliable internet connection. So I keep a terminal window open with non-stop ping to google.com. This is just my test for whether or not the connection has died.

Something very strange that I noticed was that after I was disconnected (HTTP stopped working and PING timed out every packet), I kept getting price ticks on JForex. I had a position opened and the P/L plus P/L Pips kept changing!

Could someone explain this? My only idea is that the incoming UDP packets for tick data managed to keep coming but outgoing packets were rejected?

What was the connection status in the JForex platform when you got disconnected? Possible your DNS server was unavailable, that is why http was unavailable, but JForex platform worked.
