Hi,
I would like to setup alerts on a couple of indicators according to certain criteria. For example, I would like to set up and alert on CCI that would be something like this:
=OR(CROSSOVER(<cci_line>,-180),CROSSOVER(<cci_line>,-200),CROSSOVER(<cci_line>,180),CROSSOVER(<cci_line>,200))
if that helps understand what I am trying to achieve.
The other thing I would like to do is to have an alert on Bollinger Bands when price moves outside of the bands by 1% or more. But would like to be able to alter the % amount down to 0.25% if I wanted to. Would I need to perhaps create a customised BB indicator? then put alerts on that?
Then I would like to be able to email myself the alerts.

Hi, we suggest you, to create a strategy, that will monitor these indicators and will react according to. You can't put your notifications in the indicator because, indicators do not have an access to your file system. Here is samples that will help you:

Any other instrument is working fine which I tried so far, except this one. We succeeded to use alerter with XAU/USD. Did you select the XAU/USD instrument before adding an alert to its price?

I tried again on 2 different computers, but the same problem.
I can change the price of any instrument except the XAU/USD.
And I always get the alert in the right time.
Even when I try to delete the XAU/USD price and set a new one it is not working, always the old price is coming back.
