Is it possible to print color messages?

Is it possible to use "console.getOut().println()" method to output messages on message tab in different color (or background color)?

Yes you can use html for such purposes. Consider this 
context.getConsole().getOut().println("<html><font color=\"#CC0033\">Test colored output</font>");
