I am trying to increase the font size of a label on the chart with the following code
                Font font = new Font("Serif", Font.BOLD, 20);
                test.setFont(font);

but I keep getting error "The method setFont(Font) is undefined for the type IChartObject"
Can anyone help me with this please.

Use the method setText(String text, Font font) when creating the label instead.
