Hello all,
Does anyone know if jforex will export data to excel like MT4 will. I want to build a large database of tick data for external strategy evaluation and development. I know that jforex contains good automated strategy capability, but I am engaged in vb development and don't want to break off to learn how to program in java until I know it will work.
Thanks in advance
Steve

Thank you both for your input.
I have downloaded some historic tick data and am working with it. I have realised that with this data, I don't need live data, as I can reconstruct a virtual live market for testing.
Regarding the 3 suggestions from vadim berezhnoj, I have read all 3, but the one that looked particularly interesting- the Write in Excel, I couldn't find any reference to excel, and the search didn't return anything. Can you possibly provide more detail here so I can find the topic?
Thanks
Steve

Thanks Vadim,
I am used to coding in vb in excel 2010. I don't recognise most of the code, apart from the sheetname, column and row update. Which is the jar file, and which is the dll? Can you say if this outputs tick data live?
Sorry to be a burden, but if I get this right, I can run truly live.
Also, will the dll allow 2 way communication between jforex and excel so I can do my programming in vb and thus avoid needing to learn java?
Thanks in advance
