Oh, this must be a network problem then. There are 2 things you should do:
Be sure that your Java Network Proxy is set up correctly.
In Java Control Panel, press "Network Setting..." button and check "Direct connection" radio-button.

Be sure that your firewall is set up correctly.
The firewall TCP/IP port 10443 must be opened.

Greetings, are you using the correct Jforex contest platform? This might be the case.

For your information, a few minutes before..i can trade, and then..when i tried to add another position i got a message like that. Now i can not trading at all

It becomes more and more interesting but I still can not log in to the platform SYSTEM IS OFFLINE. AND THIS WONDERFUL STORY:

The last console output is showing no errors. Do you still have this message: SYSTEM IS OFFLINE?

The reason for inability to place orders was found. It will be fixed in the next release that will come as soon as possible. For now, you can rectify this problem in the following way: File/Restore default. Do not use the workspace file saved on the non-contest platform for the contest platform.

The issue is resolved and released in the DEMO 2.23.6 version.

SGD/JPY take profit already hit but position did not close.

Today I opened sgd/jpy short position with take profit at 75.319 and when I checked sgd/jpy from MT4 it already hit 75.319 its last low was 75.306 but my position did not close. I opened sgd/jpy chart from jforex platform and I saw that it could not download the latest data of sgd/jpy.

greenapple be carefull if you use MetaTrader. It shows only historical BID prices on the chart and there is no way to get the historical spread at that moment. In your case, the Take profit is a buy order and the ASK prices should be investigated.

catalinmia, please make sure you use the latest DEMO platform version 2.23.6.

I have same problem, and then i tried to delete cache file, tools-->preferences -> delete cache saved files..just check the box.

And everything back to normal again.

IT SEEMS THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TRADE IN CONTEST ANYMORE!IT`S TOO BAD TO BE KEPT OUT BY A TECHNICAL PROBLEM!
am able to open java application from any other site excepting dukaskopy!!!

That is what I get on the console when Java charts from Daily fx are open and functional:

The only answer to this problem from support is to

[size=150]please clean java cache and reset your workspace to default in options. This will help.[/size]
i cleaned java cash hundreds of times !!!!!IT WOULDNT HELP.
The log in space to Fx marketplace platform is available I feed in my credentials
and the workspace wouldnt open at all.
In the message area :SYSTEM IS OFF LINE!
That happens BEFORE the workspace is supposed to appear!No workspace for me!
I send youu the messeges again from java what I see is something about unknown source
can somebody take seriously this problem and try to solve or advise me how to ?

Same problem as above.What is striking me as java-illiterate from the above text is :

Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: connect.

Permission denied.Can this mean something?
Can anyone help.Please look at my previous postings and please
dont advise of cash cleaning I did it tens of times it does not work.

Hello folks,

i wonder if anybody noticed the "comment order" or "like order" function seems to behave bugged.

Sometimes all my window is cluttered with those blue "somebody like your order" windows or the "comment" equivalent. It does not happen all the time, but sometimes it makes me unable to use the contest platform accordingly.

Just to mention this here for the Ducascopy support. I have tried to resolve this by clearing my browser cache and re- login on the contest platform, but didnt helped out.

Some solution for this ?

There seems to be some sort of a glitch with HKDJPY. I put in a market-order at 12.71612 with a temporary TP of 12.7175, bearing in mind the 10 pip restriction in the contest, at the time, the platform obviously concluded that 0.00010 was a "pip" & the order was filled but when I tried to change the TP afterwards, platform wouldn't accept 12.72, I tried 12.73 then 12.74 then I tried 12.82 just to see what it is willing to accept & it accepted 12.82 leading to the obvious that now it considered 0.01000 to be a "pip". Please look into this issue.

I can't join the trader contest, when I click join I get a message can't contact server check your internet connection.

But my connection is fine and I had no problems joining other contests and accessing the dukascopy website.

Anyone else with this problem?
