Hello, I just want to know if Iam the the only one with this issue. I can log into the platform and watch the tick data, but as soon as I try any other timeframe or chart, the platform doesnt progress and shows me a blank chart. Never had that problem before. (System requirements are met and restared several times) If anybody hows to fix this, I would be very thankfull. cheers

At the moment backtesting is possible with enddate < 31st January 2011 only. At least.

Since last weekend JForex DEMO is very buggy. It did not even launch on Saturday 14/02/11 and Sunday 15/02/11.
It looks like a blackout.

there are some technical difficulties we are dealing with at the moment. The situation should improve until the end of the week.

I get problems, chart continues to perform loading but no graphs are visible
so I only see a blank chart window but the order entry & position seen moving
I hope support can fix it immediately. Thanks

Live seems like working.
Could you please develop and do your beta tests on a separate platform than the public JForex DEMO ?

It is something enormous time wasting by dealing with this buggy JForex DEMO.
There are too many updates per month, therefore a steady strategy testing is almost impossible,
sometimes JForex does not start at all
and quite often the new DEMO version has serious bugs.

We, developers and customers, really need a robust JForex DEMO!
Please do you experimental tests on a JForex BETA DEMO or however you want to name it.
I think otherwise customer satisfaction is not likely!

I emailed them a couple of months ago relating to their sudden version upgrade to the API last summer. This is what I wrote and their response.

Me: We are sad to see that the new API version that was sprung on traders in June still hasn't been rolled out as there are a lot of bugs which have been marked as fixed, but haven't been fixed in the current version available. Could you not have a beta fork that uses this already coded API? Coders could then have a time window to move their code across to the newly designed API and test for newly introduced bugs during that process?

Duka: There are no plans for providing a Beta version.

I wish Duka would go into detail about why they do things like this that clearly go against a proper programming development process. Issuing one line, shutdown responses is not synonymous with the transparency that they are quick to eagerly tout.

I've a same problem and it starts to disturb. The quality of Dukascopy services and JForex platform is decreasing. I hope, they will correct these things as soon as they can.

JForex API also returns only CONNECTION_TIMEOUT since Monday morning (only between 7am - 8:30am on 16.01. it was temporarily available).

What I can't understand is how Dukascopy expects demo customers to ever open live accounts and start trading real money when demo platform give such an impression of unreliability ?? Logic that you should fund the account in order to get a reliable platform is just very twisted...

JForex is back up and running on my system.
