It is said in rules that comments spamming is prohibited but this rule is massively breaking. I'm getting tons of senseless comments from many people and most of them have a very high popularity rank and no penalties at all. How regular obeing the rules trader can have a good popularity rank in this situation?

Senseless spamming, like good luck or great trade are common, I think the spamming Dukascopy refer to is if you are being approached by people offering you products.

Agreeing with you both, it is quite ridiculous to see pop points being offered for very little meaning in them as stated by the originator of this complaint. It is like a robotic machine spamming repeatedly just for pop points as "visited IPs" . Needing discussions and meaningful messsages of the patterns of trades; instead of just "I like your trades +1" or "good trade +1" well before the trades closed. In other words, how do they know those trades will be good or big winners before they close?

Yes, I do see some high populariy rand traders sending the same messages, such as I learn from you, to others regardless their performance (some of them just have 10K in the accounts). Very funny.

There are some traders who keep spamming just to get some comments for their trades and increase their popularity. while in my opinion it's not possible to stop spamming, dukascopy recently added a feature to remove the comment. traders (those who don't like having such messages) can delete messages to look their blog clean.

maybe, everyone is only given 5votes/day. in this case, we only like the trades we truly admire.

It is perfectly OK to leave comments in blogs; but voting with +1 hoping to get a returned +1 and/or a visit to score pop points just for the sake of pop points defeats the quailty and intents of a contest. 1/ Yes, the idea of a limited vote/day is fair dinkum and limits spams or fouled plays. 2/ Deleting comments in blogs does NOT do good to limit spams since dukascopy contest logs in per Ip-Visit whether the comments were meaningful or just blind-rubbish as mentioned that some were well commented while they carried only $10K balance left in accounts.
That is one reason why I often get discouraged to contest when I see those pop points are far too high for me to beat; that is, they are too good with promotions and tirelessly putting through comments instead of trading which is a nice strategy when you are infront of the crowd. Frankly, can't blame them at all while it is the system and wish that they win in the end. I enjoy it here win or not because it is a very powerful REAL Money Accounts trading tool to have for being such a realistic contest.
Duka has to make that final decision on pop point scores; and come about with a better solution while its intention is to generate clients via this great contest; that is, more logins better sale potentials. Great adv too!

Well spamming is something you receive a> from unknown (sources/sender) b> unwanted
Mostly (except two) who had written some comments here are someway or other connected with the contest and yet chose to put their opinions as "guest". Well this certainly qualified to be spam.
wakeup and log in and contribute.

The irony of these "spamments" is that the commentators don't even visit the contestant's page but just spew copy and pasted comments in the blog page. So the contestants get "spamments", but no visitor points.
