If the average positive pips exceed the average negative ones - the following formula it used to define the standing of the participant: "(Average positive pips + Average negative pips) / 2". All figures are taken by modulus.
I don't get it. Who will get more points, the trader with average positive pips 100 and average negative 99, or the trader with average positive pips 100 and average negative 10?
Currently the better position will be assigned to the trader #1 (average positive pips 100 and average negative 99), however, understanding the inefficiency and unfairness of such an approach towards a conventional trader #2 (average positive pips 100 and average negative 10), we plan to amend this evaluation factor in the nearest future.
The original purpose of this evaluation factor was to discourage traders from using scalping trading strategies.
