Hi ,

I started making my strategy in Visual Forex today and when I pressed "Run Strategy" it started Connecting to strategy server and an error ocurred:
Connection Error
Connection is not established. Please download (click "Download" button) the Visual JForex Strategy Processor. After successful download, check your browser, run and login. You can see the running Strategy Processor in your computer 's System Tray.

I did that and got an "Unable to launch the application" error.

I managed to make it work on Windows 7 at home (Windows XP at work). There must be something about cookies, cache, or I don't know...
After the download, you need to login with your strategy contest platform User and Password and then you can compile the strategy.
Now, I need a tutorial on how to make my strategy work, because in my opinion I did everything right for testing purposes and it does nothing.
I'm not sure how it works and I believe basic information like how does VJFx manage the programs, is there a certain beginning - middle - end section, should be provided.
I'm still reading info, but there's not much of a detailed guide on how to use it and no apparent error log to tell you what's not working right...
I'll get back to this as soon as I find some more answers.
I'm sure there are other people in the dark as I am :)

Cheers

Well it seems there is a part of the forum where there are many answers about VJFx. Only it's not in the same category with trader and strategy contest as one would expect.
For those who didn't find it like me, here it is:
