User sanjivk has only two lines coped (almost 10%) of pawansansanwal's strategy (ema and tvs parameters), i think he has no any violation and deserve for victory. MyiDEA

Discussion on whether a strategy is a copy of another strategy, I find somewhat pointless.

There is a finite number of indicators and some like RSI are very popular.

For each currency pair the choice of TP and SL levels are also limited.
After that - the strategy is required to have certain components and most have a standard form of script.

The huge majority of strategies you see in this contest are the same old, same old with slight variations.
To suggest copyright applies to these strategies is ridiculous (in my humble opinion).

If you want to see innovative, fresh concepts then look at the very few that we see in the contest....
Such examples are strategies belonging to Cesar (and his brother) and Tabanyi.

That is the reward for me in joining in this contest

I have no word to say about violation of rules by me or anyone. I will simply say that those who will look into all matter closely will get right answer, otherwise it will be a violation of rules forever.

MyiDEA, thanks for reporting this issue in support forum. I really appreciate that, and being a oldest member of this Community, I think, you took right path.

Few friends told this contest as "Hate Contest" at my free comment blog : https://www.dukascopy.com/strategycontes ... er=sanjivk.

About that, I will say only one sentence to all "Are we part of DFC or not?", if yes, then it is time when we can make it strategy contest again, and to do this, we need only one work to make it better. It is simply reporting wrong things/behavior/rule violation in any term to DFC team immediately. After doing this, as per me, it will be a neat and clean contest with well professional members.

And about last two months performance, if any one will look at my strategy and trading contest, they will understand where I stand, and I do not have to explain about strategy or any other point.

Last but not least, if someone has forced me to write those comments which I wrote as free comment this month in strategy contest page, to get me down to rank 2 or even lower and make some one at rank 1 for prize of $5000, then please go ahead and claim that, because "excellence does not need any ladder to be sucessful."

Thanks to everyone, and I hope Contest Team is also looking at this forum and will take right action in the favor of Dukascopy and it's members.

MyIdea - you have a rather strange way of deciding the percentage of lines that are copied i.e. duplicated

IMHO sanjivk's strategy is a copy of p's - it has just been tweaked a little

Thanks for taking a close look at my strategy.

Now let me tell you truth :

Pawansansanwal and sanjivk strategy is same and there is no any difference. However author is me, as you can see that it has been uploaded in July'2012 itself, and later in month of August, Pawansansanwal used that strategy.

Anyway, I have no problem if any one is using this strategy. Also Pawansansanwal has already told the same in my free comment blog,

So no nothing to talk about from my side now.

Thanks guys for support and raising whole concern and it will still be a concern for sometimes in future, because now I see that someone is asking for Dukascopy point issue. So Concern will always created by someone is any way to take some advantage, but it should be us who should take close look on whole matter and resolve it ourselves without making a big concern.

i am damn sure dukascopy will get to the bottom of this all and without a doubt deal with it appropriately. i resent (hate) people who like thriving off others' hard work; i think this is the reason this month's competition has delayed.....because they are still figuring out who copied who!!
