Post subject: | Question about Proxy server development for JForex3/4 |
Hello, supports! Because of the poor network, I need to develop a proxy server for JForex. I think there are some differences between JForex3/4 proxy development and ordinary proxy development. 1. I found that JForex proxy uses HTTP 1.1 proxy protocol. 2. I developed a HTTP proxy server. It works good on Other MT4 platforms. But on JForex3, sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't ---- Error messages "Connection reset / Connection reset by peer" often appear. And I found that not all data of JForex3 is transmitted through this proxy server. When I used it in JForex4, it didn't work at all. 3. My tentative conclusion is that: Ordinary HTTP proxy server cannot work well on JForex3, and cannot work on JForex4. Was I wrong? 4. So, most important of all, If I want to develop a proxy server for JForex, what should I pay special attention to? Waiting for the answer. Thank you very much! |

I disagree.. Im using an external amazon apache proxy server to get data connection for my jforex running on my company laptop blocked by FW..Im using apache port forwarding configuration settings and I give in jforex network settings the proxy server "localhost:8888" address ..for me this works fine.. |

Maybe you're right. I could log in using my proxy server and a apache-proxy-sever. However, I cound not update the platform through the proxy server. This is really confusing. |
