Cannot login JForex demo on Ubuntu

For about 2 weeks I cannot login JForex Demo on my Linux machine.
The login window keeps on "Authenticating...." forever.
I could reproduce this on 2 Linux servers running with MATE desktop.
It does not seem a cache problem. Maybe the new JForex demo 3.4.14 is not compatible with MATE.
It works with Cinnamon.
It also works with the older JForex live 3.4.13 on MATE.

Please help!

Please roll back demo to 3.4.13 in the meantime or give us a link to start an older JForex version.
Me and many customers using Linux servers are stuck at the moment.
This is an urgent issue!
