Hi guys,
I keep running into some issue and not sure how to solve it. The idea is that i want to display the current chart period and instrument name in some sort of header, like the OHLC but rather standalone as indicator.
Problem is we have the standard timeframe periods as well as the custom ones. I like to use the Tickcharts as well as rangebars but also 'normal' charts.
Is there any way to display something like INSTRUMENTNAME, PERIOD(INTERVAL) so if i currently have the tickchart(150) set for GBPJPY it would display like GBPJPY TICK(250)?
Would be nice to have it available since when printing the charts its not included and when i'm studying the charts i need to look it up which TF it was.
Any pointers or available code snippets?
Thanks in advance, Phil

Thanks.
I have solved it by using a strategy which takes the instrument and timeframe and puts it in the left upper corner. Upon start of the strategy it loops through all opened charts and sets this ´caption´ and after this it stops the strategy.
Just need to remember to run the strategy once after flipping timeframes but at least its done.
Thanks for thinking along.
