I don’t know where to turn with this but after a year since this post:
https://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/blog/?action=post-show&post_id=15176&language=en updates on JForex 4 seems to have died.
I have downloaded the JClient form here:
https://demo-login.dukascopy.com/fo2/platform/jClient and I keep getting the following:
Turning the error console on doesn’t give much either,
Java Web Start 11.60.2.27
Using JRE version 1.8.0_60-b27 Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
User home directory = C:\Users\WorkStation1

c: clear console window
f: finalize objects on finalization queue
g: garbage collect
h: display this help message
m: print memory usage
o: trigger logging
p: reload proxy configuration
q: hide console
r: reload policy configuration
s: dump system and deployment properties
t: dump thread list
v: dump thread stack
0-5: set trace level to <n>
----------------------------------------------------
#### Java Web Start Error:

Also, trying to register for the demo as instructed in the post leads to errors.
My queries are:-
a)Is the public demo still available for testing?
b)If it’s not, why haven’t these links been pulled down and what’s the progress on this?
I find it very hard developing in JForex as it is especially when it comes to optimizing and reporting and any update on this would be great so that I can go back to MQL until JForex4 is ready.
As a side note: Googling JForex 4 shows up sites that are linking to dead links such as
https://demo-login.dukascopy.com/4fo/register/demo-self/?account=forexhttps://demo-login.dukascopy.com/4fo/platform/jForex This reflects badly on the company, a redirect would be in order.
