When you run a historical test in visual mode at full speed and you change the chart period while it is running, the chart does not get repainted.
Sometimes it makes the JForex chart completely freeze.

Greetings.

Issue was not replicated. Visualization chart switches between periods without interruptions.
Please provide strategy code and tester settings to replicate it, and platform logs for investigation.

Regards.

Unfortunately I cannot upload files due server error of this forum ( see https://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/english ... 77&t=57339 )

But for replication you could simply take a strategy like this
https://www.dukascopy.com/strategyconte ... trader=sos (June 2020)
and run it in the Historical Tester on GBP/USD of a local JForex.
Switch on Visual Mode.
Back test it in full speed.
Then switch between high periods and low periods a few times while it is running.
After a few switches you will see the chart not updating and sometimes freezing.
The more complex a strategy gets the more easy this happens.

Please have a look at this.

Still the issue can not be replicated.
Switches between periods take some time to download data but not freezing.
Please send platform logs, strategy code and tester settings to replicate it to [email protected].

Regards.
