In Eclipse I am getting this error in every strategy involving getTick(instrument, 0));

"The method getTick(Instrument, int) is undefined for the type IHistory"

The method getTick(Instrument, int) is undefined for the type Object

I am using JForexClientLibrary-2.8.1

Example :

public ITick getLastTick(Instrument instrument) {
try {
return (context.getHistory().getTick(instrument, 0));
} catch (JFException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
return null;
}

getTick(Instrument, int) is implemented in later versions. JForexClientLibrary-2.8.1 does not have this method.

This is the latest SDK Project.
https://www.dukascopy.com/client/jforex ... -3-SDK.zip

An easier way to update project is to set the newest DDS2-jClient-JForex and JForex-API version in the pom.xml file.
Currently it is:
DDS2-jClient-JForex 3.2.1
JForex-API 2.13.37

Thank you, is working fine now !

As an advisory in regards to this topic: for Eclipse installation and updates

- download the latest JForex-3-SDK.zip from: https://www.dukascopy.com/client/jforex ... -3-SDK.zip
- unzip and remember the location for the next step
-follow the instructions provided in the Dukascopy website: https://www.dukascopy.com/wiki/en/devel ... in-eclipse and run the pom file from the unzipped location for updates
- delete the old files Maven Built file(s) since they will update older versions

I got in trouble with updating following this Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8T3vCYSfrY
Video is very good instructions very clear but I cold not find any updates higher than JForexClientLibrary-2.8.1.zip 2012-Oct-19 16:59:10 7.7M application/zip

//:)
