Hello I wish to run multiple versions of the same strategy on one PC Each version deals with a different currency-pair and each version connects to a different sql database Is this an OK approach? what technical problems might you run into ? Bob M p.s. PC CPU is i7-4790 4-Core |

Hi Bob, I think your approach is very good. The devil is in the detail when all must work together. For me the best solution was running strategies on separate JForex demo accounts (masters), which trading signals are then aggregated into one account (slave). I am doing this by a basket technique. I discussed this in my interview on Dukascopy TV https://www.dukascopy.com/tv/en/170294 This way you can also balance the risks of each strategy. Every single strategy could run independently, while still all of them get combined in one receiving (slave) account. This reduces technical problems dramatically because you can control each strategy separately. Kind regards Bernhard |
