Good evening,

This way to code does not allow the backtest (VJF and JFOREX) for the bullish engulfing, do you have other ways to code the engulfing in different pairs?

Hi,

That's right, VJF is not the best solution when it comes to testing with multiple instruments. I recommend you to simplify your strategy with one instrument then duplicate the files and change the default instrument. it is also simple to test as if it works for one instrument it will be the case for another
