I have question about time period. In my strategy changing 10sec to 10min (picture) makes huge difference, other result. How it works? It mean that strategy is rubbish (only lucky shots)? Or is 10 min candle goes better in this situation and doesn't open when indicator is good only for short time? Is it checking if the conditions are good for these 10 min/sec? I don't understand how it works. Can someone explain it to me? ;)

Hi,

This is an essential concept in Forex trading but also in working with Japanese candlesticks, A candle length of 10sec is completely different from another one having 30sec or 10mn or 1 hour. The prices forming the Open, High Low and Close are not the same, therefore any indicator is different compared to another time frame. So if indicators has different values between 10 sec and 10 mn, it is 100% normal to have different behaviors (strategy trading or not / profitable or not / ....)

Read more about that in

Cheers

And what a terms of using visual jforex strategy on live account. I saw that I can't make it from downloaded .vfs files. What it mean? Is Dukscopy have permission to check my strategy or use on their own?

Cheers

There no tricks: you should test your strategy in Jforex platform and check its results.

Any Visual strategy can be used in Live: You can link your live account to your community account "Hoshigakiii" where your Visual strategies are saved/ built and use them straight away. Again, make sure to test anything before pushing to Live.

I don't understand your question. Could you please elaborate ?

Dukascopy cannot access any strategy if it's running as a compiled file (file format ".jfx") to compile a strategy, export it to your Jforex platform > Compile. the obtained file is hard-coded.

I was wondering why I can't compile .vfs file in Jforex, but I have to upload strategy to the community account?

But you can compile only in Dukascopy servers, means that Dukscopy see strategy before compiling but is there any terms/agreement that makes Dukascopy do not to take my strategy and use it on their own? (I know that I'm bit annoying, but I want to have it clear) ;)

Regards, Hoshi.

Hi,

vfs files belongs to Visual Jforex, but it is indeed possible to upload a vfs file to Jforex then edit the code locally and compile it. The compilation is not made remotely at the level of our servers but locally.
If you're concerned about intellectual property, please send an email to [email protected]

Thx

Could you give me step by step instruction how to do that? I would be grateful. :)

Hi,

With the current version of Visual Jforex, simply click on Compile menu and "View source" then copy paste the code in Jforex after opening a fresh new template (New strategy)

Cheers
