Sure, it is the same as if you calc Moving Average (MA, or exponential EMA) based on price of certain market (say EURUSD).
But you don't calc EMA based on price of EURUSD but based on Account Balance (Equity).

Such thing is great tool :) ... but can't do it in VjForex :(

Hi,

Here is an example of a moving average with the equity as input.
The formula is standard: sum of equities based on the candle period divided by the number of candles: the number of candles in question is considered as the time period of the indicator. Set it to daily and you'll get the MA_Equity on daily basis, the equity value is catch'd at the end of the day candle. Set it to 10 mn for instance and you'll get the MA of your equity on 10 mn basis. The variable "Time period" is defined as the number of candles , example:
If candle period is daily and the time period is 5 --> your MA is calculated based on 5 days
If candle period is 10mn and time period is 10 --> your MA is calculated on 100mn basis (1h and 40mn) ... and so forth ..

Logic and method:
The counter is used here to count the number of candles and compared to the time period which is set to Global so that the user defines this parameter when launching this indicator.

PS: the open at market block is just used to make the equity moving in order to check the value of the MA (testing purpose)

Cheers !
