hi everyone,

I am trying to build up a strategy that covers my entries in the market with hedge.
it should just submit pending orders ( sell or buy) every time a "trade event" of a opened order comes.
I am receiving this error " Cannot create order with label that already exists ".
I found a similar questions in the forum ... but is not for visual forex.. so i am not understanding well what i should do.
How can i manage labels of positions in a iteratively way in visual Jforex?

Well I'm sure there should be an example of what you described somewhere in this forum but can you please describe more the functional spec of your strategy and attach your progress in vfs format so that I can have a look ?

I saw that you worked on trade event start point but you need to know that the trade point start is triggered every time any message related to order/position submit is made including order creation, execution, change, cancellation. so basically you need to filter out the nature of the message if you don't need you conditions to be executed on any message that comes.
Can you please explain in details what are you expecting from the strategy to do ?

hi,
i am at the beginning so..... i can be totally wrong!
lets say i do my technical analysis on eur/usd chart and decide to open a position.
i would like to manage my manual order with an "hedge strategy" rather than a SL / TP. hopefully, in the worst case, i can lose less pips and so have a better risk rewards.

i have tried to put a filter on the amount of pending orders ( should be every time only one) but it doesn't work.I don't know why it just continue to open orders.
( at least i don't have the error about the label... )

i have notice that when a pending order is submitted/opened, it is characterized by the state: FILLED FULLY. i can't find that option when i use the variable state (STA) of the menu: trading event > trade message position
