hi
I would build a trade using pivot points, but I noticed that in visual j forex pivot points of the indicator differ from those that are on the chart. Mistake in the settings?
How do I get the same points?
Thank you

Hi,

Pivot indicator is used pretty much the same as in Jforex platform:
When dropped in the workspace, the block has several outputs that displays the different pivot levels R1, R2, R3 and S1, S2, S3 as well as the central Pivot line (P) and the separator. Each of the output variable is used to display a given value to be used when needed. In order to see the same values as displayed in Jforex platform, you need to make sure the pivot indicator settings are the same: the period, the default trading period and the side (Bid/Ask)

Pivot indicator uses candles starting from 00:00 UTC, but day starts from 22:00 and calculations shifts.

Indicators are implementing GMT by default but if you look at Jforex platform with day start time set to UTC+2 it differs obviously.
