i want to know how to limit the number of entries per period
for example i want to open just 1 position per 15 min, and despite we have multiple signals during the same candle of 15 min , in just the first signal we will enter.

Are you trying to do this using Visual Jfoirex strategy builder ?
If yes, simply plug your block to "OnCandle" start point and set your trading period to 15mn and the strategy should trade once per candle

yes i work with visual jforex to establish my first strategy, and i used the option "on candle" , and i put the period, however , the strategy open multiple positions in a lot of times.

the strategy is based on engulfing patterns principle
for example, sell position if candle 2 ( get historical candle shift2) is bullish and candle 1 ( get historical candle shift1) is bearish candle 1 is bigger than candle 2

Hi,

You just need to change your period filter and input "Candle BID (or ASK) period" to be equal to the default period. Therefore your strategy will trade based on the specified trading period
