I am new to JForex and VJForex and I am having difficulties with the following,

Calculation Expression - used to make more complex arithmetic calculations and formulas such as it can be done in Excel.”

However, the following excel function does not work, MAX(A:A) or MIN(A:A), it not listed on supported operations and was wondering how I can get it to work on VJForex. I know I can sort an array and get max value in JavaScript but I am interested in doing it on visual VJForex for the contest.

The idea is to get the max ATR of N currency pairs then I take it from there as such shown in the Excel screenshot below.

The above fails on calculation expression

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi,

Well, the max function is listed if you scroll down in the tool-tip menu highlighted in the below screenshot:

You can see as well the way the max function syntax should be. we use the comma instead.
Depending in the number of currency pairs that you want to retrieve, the use of an array could be considered as a solution.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you so much for this, I was aware of the function but was looking for a "all-in-one" solution. If I was to run two calculation expression blocks it would give me a total of 6 pairs then I could compare the two outputs.

Thanks again.
