Greetings!
I need help with coding of a simple strategy that will make some kind of sound on every new candle. Can anyone push me in a right direction of how to code this? I would really appreciate any help that I get.

Regards;

Greetings,

We are currently experiencing an issue regarding Sound Alert block which is handled and will be fixed shortly.

But generally speaking this could be done as following:

Hello and thank you for the answer!
I have a couple of questions. How do I export the strategy so I can use it in my client? And suppose I have a few charts open with different timeframes - how do I chose the timeframe that I need so I get sound alerts just on that timeframe?

Thanks you in advance!

Hi there,

Herewith I send you a brief User Guide document to answer to your first question related to using the source code of any strategy built using VJF.
For you second question, if you need to set multiple time frames in the same strategy then you have to use several period filters or specify the needed period within the blocks that you will use (such as indicators / Get historical candle / etc...)

Thanks

Hi,

I have the strategy performing the right sound alert in vJForex, however when I import the code and run in the "Historical Tester" for the same pair and period, there is no soudn.

Can you please give me some hints?

Regards
Virgil

Hi,

The Alert sound is working but considering only the "coin" sound in Jforex. We'll check this and fix it asap.
Meanwhile, you can indeed use any sound in VJF but when used in Jforex, only the coin sound will be considered.

Thanks

Amine,

Thank you for your prompt answer. Have tried "COIN". "Coin" and "coin" with the volume at max and did not hear any cash-ing:)

Regards
Virgil

Hi there,
Seems to me that there is still some issues with the sound alert (coin or any other sound). When testing a strategy everything goes fine, but when put it in on the platform it works a day then it stops for a few days for no reason. Can't figure out what is going on. Does anyone else have similar issue?
Cheers
Alex

Hi,

I believe this is not related to sound alert: it either works or not when you run your strategy in Jforex platform. To check this I need the vfs file.

Thanks
