Hi,
Renko charts implementation using visual Jforex is not planned so far but you can perform the calculation "manually" and use it. it shouldn't be that easy to do this but I believe it is still possible. This literally means that you'll create your own Renko chart taking into account the following parameters:
- The time & date of the calculation start point based on Tick event - From this trigger point, the number of pips (up or down) to be used in order to determine Renko blocks - Handling flat tick movements - handling positive and negative results and their iteration
Hope this helps..

Lets see if gilfrx was able to do this and had any success or issues.

Hi gilfrx, hi Dirk,
Have you been able to create your own Renko chart taking into account the above Parameters? Would be good to know how you solved this issue.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Well, since this issue was raised, there is no much demand for a renko implementation so it was left as it is and I don't know if any user managed to do that. I helped a user regarding a similar problem but still related to time based charts (not price based one): Building tick bars. Is this blocking for you ? can you find a workaround using standard time based charts to achieve your idea ?
ps: Dirk in no longer available in this forum as a VJF expert.
