Trying to set up so robot buys at market when condition is met.
1. 4hr candles only 2. 4hr candle closes above 4hr SMA 3. Buy @ market when last tick = 4hr SMA
Any ideas on were im going wrong wold be greatly appreciated.

The problem is that logically it makes no sense - At least if you want to see trades!
CandleClose >= SMA AND LastTick = SMA -> only if the lastTick(Close of the candle) = SMA then it will buy.
Your calculation is based on candle and the indicator is based on tick that means very much signals for the indicator and only one signal after a built candle.
Please have a look at our webinars and maybe you can also check the examples given in VJF below "Strategy".
In your case please explain exactly what the strategy should do because there are several possibilities to understand your willing.

Thank you for the quick response.
Essentially i want to execute a buy order at market when the following has been confirmed
1. 4hr candle closes above the 4hr SMA
- if the above condition is met, the system should buy at market when price touches the current 4hr SMA. This maybe on the current 4hr candle or it may be 2,3,4,5 etc candles later. i have attached an example, hopefully i make sense to you.
