Hi Sirs, I created a counter candles that becomes active after an event and resets after a defined number of candles. What do you think about ? Warning, I'm not a programmer.

Greetings Sorte! Just by viewing your picture: You are quite aware that your counter counts different candles, are you? The CalcExpr of the counter is initialized after one hour candle, and the counter itself after 10 min. But anyway: Did you try to use boolean function to determine if there was an action? To be honest: I do not know what you are trying to build, actually.

Quote: You are quite aware that your counter counts different candles Maybe that is not quite correct. But it is confusing and probably you get an error when simulating it the first couple of times/candles.

Hi Dirk, Last night I realized the strategy, at present only long. 1) Ema 6 Ema crosses upwards 12. 2) Seeking maximum 8 candles and I multiply it by a constant. 3) I place a pending order that remains active for 10 bars. 4) If the order comes trailing stop management. I realized that my counter is poorly done. But my skills as a programmer are limited. If you have suggestions please send it as well. What is .......... Did you try to use boolean function to determine if there was an action?

I have attached the strategy. Please tell me if that is what you wanted. High/low is ok. The counter should work now correctly. Pos.State=Filled should work now, too.

Tank you Dirk,
the counter does not count and does not reset.
This is my simple rule to buy .
a) If the fast-moving average (6 bars) crosses over the slow-moving average (12 bars), find the highest high price of the last 8 bars and multiply it by 1.003 . This is the long entry price.
b) Once a cross over occurs, place a buy stop order at the long entry price and keep the order active for the 10 bars after the cross over.

Sorry for the delay. But no longer able to save anything with Visual JForex and even the Import files saved on the PC does not work. I noticed that this happens when I use the block Calculeition Expression. And the system will not charge me the pictures on the forum!!
