Simple SMA strategy

Hi,
I'm new here on the forum.
Jforex is a great tool, but as a young trader ;) , this is heavy stuff :shock: .
I have read the Wiki Jforex but i don't get the clou...
Can someone help me with a simple strategy SMA? I'm sure by doing it i will learn it faster.

I just want if the candle close above the SMA (for example period 10), Jforex place a BUY position.
If in this trade the candle close below the SMA, Jforex close this position and place at same time a sell the position.

Hi, just tried to run this strategy on demo account historical tester to understand how everything works :) Unfortunately strategy keeps stopping with message
"java.lang.NullPointerException @ com.dukascopy.visualforex.robepo.smastrategy.CloseandCancelPosition_block_24(smastrategy.java:439)"
So what is wrong with this strategy?

Well the way this strategy is built has several inconsistencies in terms of structure and redundancy of the used variables.

I've rebuilt this strategy and added some comments so that you can get a clear picture on how Visual Jforex works and how to implement your trading ideas.
