Hello all,

I'm running into a problem where my Trailing Stop Losses are not moving from their initial position after the trade is initiated. I've tried a few different techniques based on how I think Visual JForex should work logically, but I must be missing something.

I've included a few screenshots of some strategies I've tried to give an idea of what I'm working with. Unfortunately I can't compile it due to the JSON Error: 4 so can't include the files. I'm completely stumped at the moment. The actual indicators, etc themselves were chosen at random just to learn the system but I don't think that is effecting the basics themselves.

Any and all responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A trailing step moves only by steps.

Do you still have the JSON error?

It is difficult to tell you what is wrong without your strategy file.

Try File - Export (you will not need to login or compile).

I've figured out how to get a trailing stop working, but all of my systems suffer the JSON Decoding Error: 4 which stops me from compiling them, and the File Error: 2030 which stops me from loading my saved files. Whenever I hit export it asks me to compile it first. It's gotten to the point where I have to recreate the system from scratch whenever Visual JForex crashes, which is at least once a day. I've lost everything I had before but can't remember how to piece it together.

Is there any way to save the state to my computer without compiling it so I can bypass these two errors? Thanks for any and all help.

It should not ask you to compile when you export your strategy.

Also, you can File - Save draft.
