Dear Dukascopy friends and soport team:

I have a question about How to create a strategy that repeat the Pending Open again and again But when the position (buy or sell pending open) get stopped out or took profit price hit. (that means that the PENDING OPEN block had already finish and when the price get again to the same price level of the Pending Open block, the process beguin again. Always with one position open until hit the TP or SL.

When I work with the LOOP VIEWER block it works like and endless Loop , as you imagine the program dont wait to stop loss or take profit to enter a new pending open, just buy or sell new and new pending opens all the time and get margin call.

So would you mind to help me with this stuff? How may I create an order with the block?

Hello! Actually i suppose you are thinking to complex...it can be done very easily...




You only need to put this and on every new signal it will be checked if that argument is true and then it proceeds to open a new pending order.

If you want additional information please provide us with your strategy so that we can have a look into it

Also I have another question, as you can see in the file there are four diferent pending order sell1, sell2, buy 1 buy 2. All they have take profits and sl. But how can I get A STOP LOSS TO BREAK EVEN in sell2 and buy2 when the TAKE PROFITS (sell1 or buy1) are hit?

Hi Dirk, thaks a lot...I try it like that but dont move the stop loss to reak even when sell1 or buy1 gets the take profit price level.

Also The first question that I asked was about how to put the IF for when the pending orders are finished (by TP or SL) when the price again hit the level of the pending order again entry the position sell1-sell2 or buy1 buy2.

I better send you my strategy for more details. Could you check that out, fell free to change anything you think is porrly done in my strategy VV32.vfl

Sorry but it does not make sense.
If TP is reached then position closes and there is no SL to move to breakeven.

Hi;

Please check the file vv32.vfl, and you will see that there are Two pending order BUY and Two pending orders SELL. So the idea is that when the first order (BUY1 or SELL1 get to the TP objetive, the second pending order (BUY2 or SELL2) that is already in the market (because the price of entry is the same) will move the stop loss to break even (buy2 or sell2 orders).

Yes, now it makes sense.
Lets make it less complicated. For example:
If Buy position is closed then we go through all Buy positions and set SL on break-even.
Same for sell. Because it is easier to make it with Position Viewer the with Variables.
