Hi everybody!! I have just tried to set up a strategy by copying the SMA tutorial from the Dukascopy website. As far as I can see I have copied it exactly but when I run the historical testing, no trades are activated even though I can see the two crossovers on the chart.
Has anybody else had this problem? Is there another setting that should have been made/adjusted that wasn't shown in the tutorial.

Thanks for the reply!
I have actually managed to run some historical data but it will only run for a the period "Last month" or longer. If I select anything shorter than a one month period nothing happens.
What does VFS mean? Is it a screendump?

Please, attache your strategy by exporting it (File - Export) on you local computer and than attaching to your message the .vfs file.

Strategy works fine on my side.
As for testing on period less then "Last month" - there can be error in Java. To find it follow the instructions:
In Windows Control Panel go to Java -> Advanced tab -> java console -> show console.
Then start Visual Strategy tester. At the same time java console would appear.
If any error would appear while testing - it wold be logged in Java Console.

Thanks you very much for your help. I had to update JAVA, it seems to have been an old version I was running.
A lot of things seem to be running faster now too.
