Hello.
Range candles are available in jForex trading platform, but not in visual jForex. So is it possible to create range candles with visual Jforex?

Hi,
Can you please define your meaning of Candle range ? There is the "Average True Range" indicator available in Visual Jforex under the name of ATR. If you're looking for a simple calculation that displays the candle range using OHLC data then you might use the attached example. Else, please advice.
Thanks

Hi there.
I'm looking for candles that will draw only if predefined value of pips have been covered. As with normal candles (lets say 1H) the candle will be drawn every hour. What i want is that the candle will be drawn only if the price has covered enaugh "ground". So a 2 pip range candle would draw only if the price has moved 2 pips regardless of the time it took to move those 2 pips.
Similar to renko bars, but from high to low not open to close...

Alright,
I see what you mean but you need to be aware that VIsual Jforex doesn't perform any graphical indication at the level of the chart: It doesn't draw or insert any change in a given chart. It generate signals for trading that could be sounds for instance. Regarding your idea, if the price move 2 pips, you need a time period anyway : The amplitude of 2 pips within a minute ? 10 sec ? What are the next steps if the price has moved according to your expectations ??
There could be a workaround to achieve your idea...
