I have been testing a strategy I recently developed, but in different computers the backtesting shows different results.

I tested the strategy in my laptop, then I tested it in my PC and results were different. Being the PC results lower ( less profitable) than my laptop results. (My laptop is much faster than Mi PC)

After that, I tested the same strategy in one friend's PC, results were exactly the same as results I obtained in my PC. (Both computers have similar specs).

Is there something wrong with back tester or is just my laptop?

the faster the laptop the more reliable are results or the opposite?

I ask because the difference is pretty big. By the way, I developed the strategy in visualJforex but tested it in Jforex.


Backtesting method:

EUR/USD

10 years

1 minute (4 ticks at OHLC)

No optimization

No visual Mode

No messages

Thanks for answering, I just had to delete EUR/USD carpet in cache and voilà, now reults in my laptop are the same as PC's.
